Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jason Johnson has built a reputation as one of the most productive and Intelligent linebackers of his class. In 2024, Johnson entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys, where he immediately made an impression—recording the first sack of the Cowboys’ preseason and the first interception of training camp.
He began his collegiate career at Eastern Illinois, where he became a three-time All-American and two-time All-OVC selection, leading the conference in tackles in both 2020 and 2021.
Johnson transferred to UCF, earning First-Team All-AAC, Second-Team All-Big 12, and multiple academic honors, including AAC Scholar Athlete of the Year and UCF Scholar Athlete of the Year.
